Hello,

I use Mezzmo for several devices - some that require transcoding and some that do not on some formats. The question I have is how do I manage the size of the transcode library or clean it automatically. I do not have a need to pre-transcode. What I do get is incredibly large libraries of transcoded files that just take up space if left unchecked.

I see the folder size limit in the Transcoding Settings page. I limit it 1Gb but it often reported full at 2-4 Gbs. What happens when the library is full? Does older file get deleted or does transcoding stop?

Can someone explain of the library manages itself? Thanks in advance.

Hi mark11,

When your transcoding folder limit is reached, Mezzmo removes the older transcoded files so that total size of the transcoded folder is under the limit you specify. Your limit may be exceeded from time-to-time due to a file being transcoded. Later on, Mezzmo will reduce the transcoded folder size.
