I'm just curious if anyone transcodes their files to a network share and if playback works well that way.
You can set your transcoding folder to any folder on your computer or home network as long as the Mezzmo application and Mezzmo server Windows service both have full read/write access to the folder. So, network shares will work as the transcoding folder. As a general rule, the faster the disk access to this folder the better performance you will get when transcoding and streaming, so I would recommend a local drive's folder over a network share's folder.
