3 weeks ago there was a storm of updates that made the PS3 come up with the error message "Unsupported" for ALL file formats. I uninstalled the current version and then installing a version 4x before the current update at the time which made everything work again.
In a conversation with a conceiva tech I indicated this which the tech never responded, now I just ignore the updates. It seemed like someone didn't know what they were doing.... but now I am to a point of wondering..... Is it safe again to update?? It would be nice to have a current version of the software.

Good question...

But no need to insult. These guys are pretty good at this stuff... And very responsive for the most part.

If you are streaming to the Playstation 3 with transcoding turned off you should wait for the next version of Mezzmo to be released before updating, Mezzmo 2.6.7 has an issue where MP4 files may appear as Unsupported Data if the video and/or audio codecs in the file do not match the video and audio codecs specified for MP4 in the device profile.

I know its insulting, but at the same time it's frustrating... and worry-some... Mezzmo has been working fine with the updates as long as I have been a member for almost 2 years. But just recently now everything breaks with the updates??? Come on... I know there's bugs all the time when you program, but either test before releasing.. or if you know there is a problem, release a fix but then don't release the bug again...

With my past problem... They broke mezzmo, gave me a fix for the PS3 profile, released an update... it broke again.. game me a patch, released an update.. mezzmo didn't want to start...ugg...

Sorry for your frustrations. As Peter has mentioned, the next update will address your issue. If you want to try the new update before it is released to make sure it is all OK, then contact us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com & we'll provide it to you when it is ready.
