Hello,

When playing this [.mkv] file it starts off fine then loses audio synch.

This is being played through SamsungB-[DLNA]Smansung LN52B750, and SONY-STR-Sony DA4600ES. Connections are hard wired from the computer to the components through a Zyxel 8 port switch.
The computer is running Windows 7 Pro -w- i7-2600K CPU with 16GB of DDR3 RAM@1333Mhz

I have tried transcoding the file using
1. mpgets -> h264 video; ac3 audio fur just the SamsungB component
2. mpeg (PAL) -> mpeg2 video ac3 audio for both the SamsunB and Sony STR components

Also I just thought I'd mention that VLC 2.0.2 also has problems playing this file on my computer.

Thanks

Joe

Hi Joe,

Please try this: In Mezzmo, go to the Transcoding Settings dialog and turn off transcoding. Restart your Mezzmo server and try to stream the MKV file. Does it play OK? If not, then turn transcoding back on and turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging). Right-click on the MKV file in Mezzmo and click Properties. Go to the Transcoding tab and delete all transcoded files for this MKV file. Restart your Mezzmo server and try streaming the file again to your TV. When it starts to lose audio sync, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
