Folks

I've been using Mezzmo happily for a year or more now - great Aussie product :)

Since upgrading to 2.7.1.0 though I can't stream 1080p content without severe stuttering

Is there something that has to be reconfigured after installing 2.7.1.0 perhaps?

I've re-transcoded files to no avail

tv=KDL-46Z4500 BluRay=SONY BDP-S370 router=DG834G connection=100Mbps ethernet(wired) PC O/S=Windows XP

Thanks for any help

Hi Dazzler,

What device profiles are assigned to each device? Go to the Media Devices dialog to see this.

Also, please post the FFmpeg information on one of the video files that is stuttering. To do this, right-click on the video file and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Thanks Paul

Working flawlessly tonight (gotta love old Murphy)

I'll re-post if any further problems, but I suggest it was my PC then

Bummer... still doing it (this and the others I've got like it are not even 1080p, but like watching them through a fan)

Hi Dazzler,

We'll look into it. Which device did you stream this music video to (or does it happen with all your devices)? What device profiles are assigned to your devices? Go to the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo to see the assigned device profiles.

Thanks for the information. We'll try it here with a similar MP4 file and our Sony Blu-ray player. In the meantime, can you capture a set of logs when the stuttering occurs so we can see what is happening in your home setup? Please turn on logging (http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream the music video to your Blu-ray player and when it starts to stutter, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

I've had some joy by winding the Video bitrate right down in the Media device's profile

I'd like to reproduce the problem and provide logs for you - may not get time until the weekend

Thanks for the update, Dazzler. When you get a chance to send the logs to us, we'll know better what's being sent to your Sony BDP.
