Hi All,

I fairly new to mezzmo and find it a great product.

sadly though I have problems with stuttering when try to play video media with a high bitrate.

I am streaming media to from my PC to my Sony BDP S470 Blu ray player.

Mezzmo set up for Blu-ray Disc Player. Sony BDT,HT,SMP.

I have included FFMpeg info hoping you can help

This MP4 file is streamed directly to your Sony Blu-ray player when using the 'Sony BDP, HT, SMP' device profile.

High bitrate files can stutter when streamed and played on your DLNA devices - typically for two reasons:

your home network may not cope with the high bandwidth required by these files. This is typically seen when streaming using wireless networks. If you are using wireless, please use wireless-N with full signal strength. As a test try an Ethernet cable and see if this confirms that your wireless was causing the stuttering.
your DLNA device's firmware may struggle to decode and play the high bitrate file and this often causes stuttering.

You can try to pre-transcode the file to another format and see if that helps. Right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Pre-transcode Files'.

Let us know how you go.

Thanks for your reply.

I have a Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router TD-W8960N, how ever its is connected to my desktop player by cable.

Most of my files are from my Satellitte box and from BBC HD and are recoded my me.
So does this meen that I need recode my media files to a lower bit-rate, if so what would you suggest?
