Hello. I am trying to edit device settings for my iPad. I am using the Alpha Systems Media Link Player Lite profile. Under Device Settings performance tab I checked the Maximum video size box and selected 1280x720 from the preset drop down. Width is then set to 1280 and height to 720 under Maximum video size. I then click OK and am prompted to restart the server. I click Yes.
When the confirmation dialog box closes the height then changes to 640 and height to 480! When I edit the device again and go to the performance tab it still shows 640x480. How can I keep it at 1280x720? Perhaps it is a bug? Thank you.

Mezzmo 2.7.1.0 Win7 x64

Hi kazzy,
the video resolution maximum size you set in device settings is being overridden by the setting in the device profile, try going to your device profiles folder http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/467-FAQ-Where-are-device-profiles-located and then edit the profile for MediaLinkPlayerLite.prf in notepad and search for videomax. You will see the settings for videomax are width="640" height="480", if you increase these to your preferred values then you will be able to set the maximum size in Mezzmo.

The 'Alpha Systems Media Link Player Lite' device profile does have a maximum video resolution defined as 640x480. So that is why you cannot exceed this resolution. If you have an iPad, then I'd suggest you use the 'Alpha Systems Media Link Player Lite (iPad)' device profile, which has a maximum resolution of 1280x720.
