i added these lines to samsung D profile and then restarted the server

<avcontainer id="rm" name="rmvb" encode="0" mimetype="video/rmvb">
<video>
<format id="rv40" encode="0">
</format>
</video>
<audio>
<format id="cook" encode="0">
</format>
</audio>
<audio>
<format id="aac" encode="0">
</format>
</audio>
</avcontainer>

and TV gives me not supported format although all other dlna servers just send the rmvb file natively and didn't trans-code it

Please post the FFmpeg information on the RMVB file that is natively supported by your TV. To do this, right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'. Once we get this,we will modify the Samsung D device profile for you.

Hi,
we tried streaming rmvb files to our Samsung D here using Serviio and All Share and both reported that the file formats were not supported, so it is probable that these servers were transcoding the files to another format so that it plays on the device. You can try editing the Samsung D profile to change the preferred transcoding format from matroska to mpeg, look for the following line in the profile:

<avcontainer id="matroska" name="matroska,webm" encode="1" mimetype="video/x-mkv" dlnaprofile="MKV" preferredtranscoded="1" format="matroska" supportschunked="0" level="41">

Change preferredtranscoded="1" to preferredtranscoded="0" and then look for this line in the profile:

<avcontainer id="mpeg" name="mpeg" encode="1" mimetype="video/mpeg" baseline="1" dlnaprofile="MPEG_PS_PAL,MPEG_PS_NTSC" format="vob" supportschunked="0">

Add preferredtranscoded="1" to the attributes so that it becomes:

<avcontainer id="mpeg" name="mpeg" encode="1" mimetype="video/mpeg" baseline="1" dlnaprofile="MPEG_PS_PAL,MPEG_PS_NTSC" preferredtranscoded="1" format="vob" supportschunked="0">

and then save the file and restart your Mezzmo server, your rmvb files will be transcoded to mpeg when played on the fly.

didn't work gave me unsupported format
regarding rmvb i used all share and ps3 server and all play rmvb files without transcoding because in ps3 server settings i put rmvb in formats not to transcode i tried serviio before but it didn't support rmvb at all i will try it now and inform you
thanks for your patience
note when i used the SonyBraviaKDLW profile the same file will play strange isn't it?

<format id="RV40" encode="0">

Glad to hear you have got this working, our Samsung D here does not support rmvb so even after making this change in the device profile we get not supported format when trying to play the files. We will not include this change to the device profile in the next version of Mezzmo, so please make sure to backup your modified device profile before updating Mezzmo.
