I am a Windows 8 Pro user and currently own two (2) Patriot streaming devices (PBO and PBO-Alpine) that are an integral part of my entertainment system.
These two PBO devices are connected via a LAN router to my PC which is located in the adjacent room.
Although I can connect directly to them via Win8Pro OS 'shares' and play my Audio/Video files directly, I am not able to stream A/V data using the Mezzmo application.
Both PBO devices are aware of a Mezzmo streamer, yet neither of them are able see any A/V data/files that I am attempting to share via Mezzmo.
My original PBO device is setup as "Xtreamer" within Mezzmo, and
My PBO-Alpine device is setup as a "Generic Device (NTSC)' device.

I am thinking that these are not proper device types, since I have no success playing neither Audio nor Video files in my entertainment system.
Are there special device drivers for the Patriot Media Streamer that should be used?
If not, how should these 2 Patriot devices be setup

We don't yet have a specific device profile for these devices, but we are happy to create them. We'll need a few things to do this:

Please turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo using your Patriot device and try to browse and play some video, music and image files. When it fails, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
Try to find the list of video, music and image formats that the Patriot devices can play via DLNA. Check your Patriot manual or their web site for these details. This helps us define the formats that are supported in the device profile that we will create. Email that information to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

I would like to thank you good folks at Mezzmo for providing me the proper driver that I needed for that $%^& Patriot PBO Alpine Media Player.
You were quick enough to create it and provide it to me for my consumption.
It worked per your instructions and flawless.
There was however one single problem with this Mezzmo Driver for that $%^& Patriot PBO Alpine.
It showed me how terrible of a device this PBOA truly was.
I actually ripped it off of my entertainment system and will never use it again.
That brings me to my next favor to ask of you:
I want to resurrect my Patriot PBO-CORE Media Player back into action.
But in order to do that and without having to push my movies manually over to its built in HDD, via my home network, I would like to be able to use Mezzmo at as the streamer.
Currently I am using the Xtreamer driver for my PBO-CORE but without much success. Mezzmo recognizes it but can't seem to stream with much success.
Would you happen to have a driver for this Patriot PBO-CORE media Player?
Can you provide such a driver to me and I may try NOT to ever bug you again.
But let it be known that I have put a few very good recommendations for Mezzmo on the Patriot MP site.

Thank you again in advance!
RB

Hi RB,

You can bug us anytime :)

It's best we see a set of logs when you try to connect & stream to your PBO-CORE. Please turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo using your PBO-CORE and try to browse and play some video, music and image files. When it fails, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
