I have the Panasonic 65VT50 with following under about / firmware:
TV: 1170-1000
Status1: 01000-00009
Status2: 00000-00000
Status3: 0.50.2
HDAVI Control: 5
ESN: PCTV000121==A6393BD9804BA431DA2E

I go to Viera Tools and select DLNA.
I choose video and then browse to the folders.
I then step through the folders trying to play various videos. Some types would be MKV, AVI, XVID and maybe others.
I can tell the ones that will fail with the "file not found" when I tell it to start streaming, because the icon next to it is an exclamation point.
If I see something other than the exclamation point it will stream.

I followed this link on logging:
http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging

I will email this to support, but thought there may be some feedback.

It looks like the device profile is listed as Panasonic Viera (2011 Models).

Thanks in advance.

We will check your logs when we get them.

One thing to check: do you have transcoding turned on? If not, then Mezzmo is just delivering your original files and if your TV cannot play them, then will get errors from your TV. Go to the Transcoding Settings dialog to check the global setting, and then go to the Media Devices dialog and edit your device to see if transcoding is turned on (go to Transcoding tab in the Devices Settings dialog).

Another thing to check: if your files are coming from a NAS or another computer, check that Mezzmo server has access permissions. If not, then you will get an error as you describe. See this FAQ - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/1183-FAQ-Cannot-see-Mezzmo-on-your-DLNA-device

In the Transcoding Settings it is enabled. The check box titled "Turn off transcoding for all connected devices" is NOT checked.
In Media Devices / Edit on Profile / Device Settings / Transcoding tab the "Transcode incompatible media files so they can be played on the device" IS checked.
The files are coming from the local drive in computer running Windows 7. Plus remember some files are working on this drive (subfolders of same core folder).

You should already have the logs by now.

Thanks

Hey Paul,

I am just following up on this to see if the log file made it to support. I know it is Christmas Eve so wasn't necessarily expecting a resolution, but still wanted to follow up. I am on trial period and was hoping to resolve before period was up so I can make decision on final purchase.

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,

We'll analyze the logs after Christmas and get back to you. If your trial runs out, we'll provide an extension code so you can continue to make sure Mezzmo works as you want.

Thanks Paul. Wanted to give an update. I changed the profile to the following:
Panasonic Viera (2011 Models, NTSC)

Now most everything seems to be playing, but not sure if that is really what should be selected. Hopefully from the logs you will confirm what should be used.

On this setting I see almost everything transcoding as I test.

Have a great Christmas and look forward to hearing back.

Hi Paul,

Wanted to give you an update. So far so good. I will continue playing with things, but as of the moment everything appears to be working with the Panasonic using the latest profile you emailed me.

I will also be testing this with a Denon 3313CI AVR device in the next day or so. Hopefully there is a profile or one close that will work with that device as well.

Thanks again and I'll provide further update as I have it.

Greg
