[Recently worked on an issue http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/5501-Sony-Bravia-KDL-55NX810-only-stereo-not-the-wanted-surround-sound]

TV KDL-55NX810
Pioneer VSX-1122
TV is wired to network

Using current version of Mezzmo. I have a HandBraked movie and placed it on a USB flash drive and Mezzmo. It plays fine from the USB (video is smooth and audio in sync). When played from Mezzmo the audio is out of sync with the video, and the video is very slightly stuttering (which I might be able to live with...).

I never thought of my network as having a lot of issues so I wouldn't have looked there "first".

Any thoughts on the audio sync issue?

Please contact us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll provide an updated "ffmpeg.exe" that may fix the problem you are getting.

I received the new ffmppeg too and installed it in the conceiva directory.

However, still get out-of-sync issues with a few files,
Mezzmo in transcoding the audio on this, on my bravia ex700 it is out of sync.

When I look the movie using vlc all is OK.

Sorry that I didn't reply here also but I still had audio out of sync after trying the new ffmpeg.

Hi

I also have a SONY KDL TV and get these audio sync issues. I have tried a newer version of FFMPEG with no noticeable change.

Also checked the playback of the transcoded files (not using DLNA) and they seem fine, so seesm to me to be a streaming issue...

What version of FFMPEG are you recomending to resolve this?

Thanks
Mark

The version that Conceiva support recommended/provided to me is dated 10/5/2012 (it didn't seem to have internal versioning information; right-click Properties - no tab for Version). The zip is named "ffmpeg-1.0.zip".

Same as I got from them when I asked for the latest. This did not seem to resolve the issues I have had with Audio Sync, though a new profile did help to an extent, but requires much more transcoding...

Looking forward to V3.00 to see what improves :-)

Happy New year to all!

Thanks for providing the testing feedback. We'll test it here with our Sony Bravia TV and try to have it fixed for Mezzmo v3.0.
