Please help.

Ive used mezzmo for about 2 years. have never got .srt files to work on my TV. I just got a movie that absolutely needs the .srt file.

the File is an MP4 i think. The sub is an srt.

I'm using the Viera No DIVX profile as thats the one that has worked best.

Will a custom profile help me?

Thanks

Hi,
the MezzmoMediaServer.exe folder for the logs is empty, can you please try restarting your Mezzmo server to generate the logs?

srt files for Panasonic TVs require the use of avi files, if you use Panasonic Viera (No DivX) then you won't be able to view videos with srt file subtitles. If the original file is an avi file then you can use the Panasonic Viera (2011 Models) profile or the Panasonic Viera profile and try streaming it to see if you get subtitles.

If the original file is not an avi but your TV does support avi, please send us an email to support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we will send you an updated device profile that will allow you to pre-transcode the file to avi.

If your TV does not support avi then you will need to wait for Mezzmo 3.0 to be released which has support for burning subtitles into the video.

Since your original file is an MKV file you can embed the srt file within it, see the following page for more information http://www.noblemd.info/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=9&Itemid=11, Panasonic Viera 2011 Models and later support MKV and you can enable the embedded subtitles for display using the option button on the remote control.
