Not transcoding full movie.

Hi,

I've been having an issue where mezzmo is only trans-coding approximately half of the movie. Although when i fast forward it shows it getting tho the end of the movie.

I've saved the trans-coded file and played it. For example the movie is 2:50 long and the trans-coded file is only 1:30 mins long.

Any Ideas?

Hi Matt,

The reason could be that transcoding has failed midway. This could be due to the original file's being badly encoded and ffmpeg.exe (we use this to transcode files) not being able to decode the file. Or, the version of ffmpeg.exe you are using may have issues encoding to the format chosen. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Repeat the steps to start transcoding the file and after it stops transcoding after completing half of the file, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
