Hi,

I'm a happy Mezzmo user. The Mezzmo service runs on my home pc and streams movies/series in HD to my Samsung TV over LAN network, as it should be. Great job so far!

I have also a Samsung Galaxy tab2 7.0 tablet device, which is connected via wifi to that same network, but I fail in connecting with a media player app on the tablet to the Mezzmo service on my home pc, to watch a serie or movie on my tablet.
What media players for tablet (android 4.1) are supported to connect to the Mezzmo service on my home pc?
Do I have to configure some settings in Mezzmo?

Thanks for any support!

Try BubbleUpnP (DLNA client) with MX Player (video player). These two apps seem to be one of the more frequently used app combinations and the next version of Mezzmo (now in beta) has specific device profiles for this combination. Both apps are free on Google Play.

Tried your suggestion. It works for certain .mp4 video files, but didn't get it running yet for other .mp4, .avi or .mkv files. I get the message 'sorry, this video can't be played'. Although it is playing without issue on my tv.
Are there certain settings in BubbeleUpnP that needs to be customized for better performance and to get everything streamed/played without issues?

Check that device profile for your Samsung Galaxy device in the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo is set to use 'MX Video Player' as this will help streaming to it.
