Export metadata to xml files

Hi,

I just loved the new version 3.x. .. The support series is awesome!

If somehow we could write out the metadata DB Mezzmo (for data consistency), it will be even better.

So I would like to request a function to export the metadata to XML files, so we can get the information online and write permanently on disk.

Can you help us?
