Xbox 360 Chaptering

Hi,

I am using Mezzmo on my PC to stream to my Xbox 360. Everything works fine and has done for a while. Accept for one issue. I can't scan forward or skip chapters on the media. Even when I have pre transcoded the files in the first place. I am not sure what to do here. If I used the default system media player on my xbox for the file and its supported it will automatically let me chapter jump. However when streaming through mezzmo I am unable to scan forward or chapter forward. Every time I try it will bring the film/tv series back to the start. I have tried multiple formats and nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated!

I used to use Tversity and it had this option but Mezzmo does not. I was lead to believe that Mezzmo was the best piece of software out there but I am starting to rethink that if this is an ongoing problem.

Yep... I get this too... very annoying indeed... especially when halfway through a film, it decides to stop! No way to skip any chapters! :D

When Mezzmo auto-transcodes to MPEG-TS, then the Xbox 360 does not let you FF/REW. We are looking at alternate formats so that FF/REW is available but most formats that we try the Xbox 360 rejects. For the moment, if you pre-transcode your video in Mezzmo to ASF (and wait until pre-transcoding has completed), then you can FF/REW when streaming it to your Xbox 360.
