Since version 3.0.2 I seem to have to restart mezzmo quite a lot in order for my devices to see it correctly.

I was having a problem with acessing at all - which I posted in another thread and I now seem to have resolved, but my WD TV devices (I have 2 - both WD TV Live Gen 1 devices) seem to keep 'losing' mezzmo. I need to either power cycle them, or restart mezzmo - or sometimes both.

When they stop seeing mezzmo they can see network shares and the network check says that all is good - so I dont think its a networking problem.

My guess is that that is a router problem, where your router's firmware has gotten itself into a state where DLNA traffic is being filtered/blocked in someway. Try rebooting your router and this may fix the problem. If no better, then view your router's settings and turn off (i) UPNP (ii) IGMP snooping/proxy and (iii) Jumbo Frames. Reboot your router after making any changes.

If no better, then we'd like to see a set of logs so we can track down the problem. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Reproduce the problem you mention and when it occurs, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
