Auto Subtitle Support

Hi,

I just spent many hours trying to get subtitles to work on my Samsung D TV.
I finally found out that all my *.srt files had minor "addition" (like font colors) that were not supported.

I had to go into the Mezzmo client and click properties for every video, select the subtitles tab, click add, and add the only title suggested and press the convert button. No other changes where required... so why can't mezzmo just do that automatically?

Hi Corpse,

Mezzmo does not know all the details about what subtitle syntax/statements/attributes are supported by each device. Unfortunately, we just do not have access to this level of information. Most manufacturers simply tell us that SRT, SUB, SMI, etc, are supported and never state the syntax & statements supported. Please email us one of your .SRT files that has the additional (not supported) statements and we'll investigate this further. Email it to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
