Hi,

I am using the latest version.

When i try to play a file from my LG smart tv its starts playing but then suddenly gives me error " This file is invalid".
I try replay the same file it plays again.

This error is doesnt come very often. But mostly happens with MKV files.

I used to get the same error on older versions when i try to forward any video.

I am on Windows 8.

Any help to fix this ?

Thanks

Hi Sunny,

Please download & install the latest version of Mezzmo (v3.1) and try again. Go to the Transcoding Settings dialog and delete your transcoded files. Try streaming again. If no success, then right-click on the MKV file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'. Post that information here. Also, tell us the device profile assigned to your TV in Mezzmo. Go to the Media Devices dialog to see this.

Hi Sunny,

Thanks for reporting this. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream the MKV file again to your LG TV and when it fails, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Did you find a solution for this?

My errors started coming after the last two updates. The first update started writing mpegts after most of my MKV files, and they couldn't play anymore. Then after that a new update came, all files looked fine again, but still wont play.

Try this: In Mezzmo, go to the Media Devices dialog and edit your device. In the Device Settings dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and delete your transcoded files. Next, go to the Advanced tab and click the Default Settings button. Click OK to save your changes. Try streaming now. If still a problem, then please post the FFmpeg information on the video you tried to stream. Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'. Also tell us the device profile that is assigned to your device.

Hi Paul sorry for the late reply.

I have tested all the different LG profiles (LG 2012, LG 2013, LG TV) all with the same result. It can't play files it normally could as of my last post.

This is the information on one of the files - it's a .mkv, but is recognized as mpgets in Mezzmo. My Exact TV model: LG_47LM649T-ZB

Hi c0urier,

It's best we see a set of logs and we'll know what's happening. Set the device profile to 'LG TV'. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream the MKV file again to your LG TV and when it fails, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
