Hi

it seems half the MKV films in my collection now dont play on the latest version. TV shows seem to be ok, but films are hit and miss.

I'll see if i can get time to grab the ffmpeg data and will send on.

cheers
Gus

Here are the ffmpeg data outputs. The first one works fine, the second one doesnt work.
Both these worked before the update, and obviously they work over USB etc.
cheers

I think i fixed it, i noticed there is not dts tag in any of the MKV containers. so added in dts and its fine.
The Samsung C series supports DTS so all good.
cheers

Thanks for reporting this, Gus.

We did make a small change to DTS handling in Mezzmo v3.1, so we'll double-check this to make sure we have not broken things.

Same problem for me with Samsung C.
@Gus could you tell how you did fix exactly ? I tried with the "Header editor" of mkvmerge GUI (from mkvtoolnix) but the codec id for the dts chanel was there (A_DTS) so I don't know exactly what I have to change.

I think what Gus did was add "dts" sections alongside the "dca" sections to his Samsung C device profile. If you email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com, then we can send you a device profile that works.

Thank you for your help. I added the dts section and it's working now.

Glad it's working now. We'll include this fix in the next minor update we release.

If any Samsung / Mezzmo user wants this updated device profile now, please email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll provide it to you.
