When I play back mkv files they are always at least 50% volume of avi files and I find too low to listen to film comfortably.
How can I increase the volume on all my mkv files?
I use profile Samsung D to play back on Samsung LA40D551.
The mkv files play back fine on the pc through vlc.

Please post the FFmpeg information on one of the MKV files that has low volume on your Samsung TV. Right-click on the MKV file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Thanks for this information. Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click Properties. In the Properties dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and check if there is a transcoded file for your TV. If there is, select it and click 'Get FFmpeg Information' and post that information here. Then, delete the transcoded file by clicking the Delete button on the Transcoding tab.

If you have not upgraded to Mezzmo v3.1 as yet, please upgrade to this version (use Help -> Check For Updates to do this). After upgrading, try streaming the file again. Let us know how you go.

Also, does the low volume occur for all videos that you stream to your TV or just this one?
