Hello!

Just bought the latest version of Mezzmo after using the trial product for quite some time now. Figured it was worth the money, so i bought it!

Now, all of the sudden, my Samsung SmartTV [Model UN55ES7100] recognizes Mezzmo, but doesn't recognize any of the files that I have in the designated media folder. I've restarted my router, PC, TV, changed around setting with Mezzmo, sent in a ticket and haven't heard a response, and nothing has work. If I try and use Mezzmo through Xbox, it works for a little bit but then the playback starts to mess up and revert right back to the beginning of the media file.

Any ideas of what else I can do? It just kinda sucks that I buy the software and it starts to crap out on me :(

If it makes any difference, we did upgrade our modem as well. We went from a basic Motorola that the cable company gave us, but we upgraded to a Motorola Surfboard SB6141. Would that have any impact on using Mezzmo? Our TV is hardwired so I'm not sure...

Anyways, thanks in advance for your help!

Hi hazardoflove,

If no files are being listed on your Samsung TV, then the problem could be related to access permissions. See this FAQ to fix this problem - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/4597-FAQ-Accessing-files-from-external-computers-and-NAS-drives-on-your-home-network.

If that does not help, then please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo from your TV and try to browse your video files and play them. When this fails, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
