Just installed version 2.1.8 and noticed that some mkv files, when played, will blank out my TV screen for about 30 seconds then my PS3 will display "The data type is not supported" and then show the file as "Unsupported Data". I have my PS3 set up in Mezzmo as a "Sony PlayStation 3" media device with default settings. I have default settings for my Transcoding Settings.

When I select Information of the video file within my PS3 it shows the Resolution as "720 x 576" and the Video Codec as "MPEG-2 4.0 Mbps". All my mkv files that have that Video Codec will not play. I've tried setting the Video Bitrate in Mezzmo for the Sony Playstation 3 media device to the lowest level but no luck. Any help would be appreciated!

BTW, here's the FFmpeg info via Mezzmo for one of the mkv files.

We have an updated device profile for the PS3 that will transcode such files to AVC (much quicker and higher-def, since video is not re-coded). Please send a message to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and I'll send you an updated device profile to try.
