Hello,

I have the new WD TV Play and this Device is not under your Devices in Mezzmo. Which Profile should I use so that DTS is transcoded to AC3?
Also when I Stream mkv files the File pauses every 10 seconds.

Thx

Hi Follo,

We have several WD TV Live device profiles. I suggest you try them to see which provides the best performance. We can also create a WD TV Play device profile if required.

Also post the FFmpeg information for the video and we can best advise the right device profile. Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Hi Paul,

thx for the quick reply. It would be nice when you can create a WD TV Play profile because I tested all 4 and no profile transcoded dts to ac3 (transcoding is enabled and pre transcoding is also not working).
What I did was transcodind the file by myself to AC3. This file is now working. I also found a way to play mkv files smoother. I changed the bitrate under the Device performance setting to bad quality but beeter performance.

Thanks for this information, Follo. We'll need a set of logs from you to create the device profile. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo server from your WD TV Play and browse a few playlists/folders and play a video. Then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. Once we get them, we'll create the new device profile and email it to you to try.
