Hi.

I want to ask you if the new mezmo 3.x.x.x has the issues of old version of mezzmo?

Like it was TOOOOO heavy for netbooks and light pc's.

Like it has a lot of crashes even if you don't do anything at all..

And a lot of others issues/bugs/problems that 2.x.x.x has.

As always i find errors and bugs one of them is that if i have to any shared folder one movie file with subtitle if i change both of the files(movie and subtitle) it change AUTOMATICALLY the movie file but not accepting the subtitle file so it must fix that automatic refresh of database.

A LOT OF THANKS.

Hi fits79.

We've fixed a bunch of issues and crashes that should make it have better performance on netbooks and 'light' PCs. We are planning to release Mezzmo v3.3 in the next week. Hopefully this helps you run Mezzmo on your computer.

Why don't you add any light mode so you can choose this profile/mode.

Thought I would chime in here. :)

From my own experience with 2.XXX onward:

I personally have only had one issue with all the releases, this was todo with user rights, and was fixed quickly on my own end (with the help of the great staff).
Given no two users are likely to have identical OS configurations, therefor this could mean that it maybe a combination of reasons that you have had these experiences. In this case the Mezzmo team would usually ask you for logs so they can view your individual issue and look to resolve it. Have you sent previous error logs?

I have run this on a dual core system and it ran fine (which was quite old), my current quad core with Windows 8 x64 doesn't even notice that it is there.

I just thought I would share my own experience here for other readers, given the context of the thread.

With my father use of mezzmo 3.2.0.0 have a lot of issues with external srt subtitles to movie files i add after the external subtitle IT DOESN'T REGONISE it the mezzmo until i refresh the database.

So paul you must fix this issue.

If you are browsing a folder from Mezzmo server with new files in the folder, then when you browse into this folder on your device, Mezzmo detects the new files and adds them into the Mezzmo library and then delivers the list of files to your device. At the same time, Mezzmo starts collecting subtitles, artwork and other metadata for these new files. So, the first time you may not see your subtitles & artwork for these new files. But if you go back into this folder in 30-seconds or so, then you should see artwork, subtitles and metadata.

Already do all that without any results for the greek subtitles even it change automatically the name it DOESN'T add the subtitle to any movie file unless i make a manual database refresh so you must fix that issue.

Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click Properties. Go to the Subtitles tab. Do you see any subtitles listed there? Please take a screenshot of this dialog and post it here or email it to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Just reading your post again, if you add a subtitle file into your hard disk folder after adding the video into Mezzmo, then Mezzmo does not dynamically pick up the subtitle file. You will need to run Maintain Library - or click the 'Update Subtitles' button on the Properties dialog (Subtitles tab) for the video.

So isn't there any way to AUTOMATICALLY catch the subtitle file if you already have the movie file in the mezzmo database?

Not in the current version of Mezzmo (v3.2.0.0).

To the next version of mezzmo?

We'll discuss it here and consider it for a future version.

ONE MORE TIME to which future version?
to 3.2.1.0 that you released at next week.

fits79, seriously??? I cringe every time I see a post from you!

As Paul said, they will discuss it, and consider it for a future version.

There is no way that he can give you a version that it will be implemented in!

Its not the first time fits79 he has made questionable posts. I remembered another topic he started that also had similar traits. I suppose we can credit Admin with the patience that is needed to put up with this sort of attitude and line of questioning. Another reason why the Mezzmo team are the best.

I make some suggestions.

It is good paul fix the issues with subtitles and the automatics database refresh to folders you have make shared for mezzmo because either of these two work normal as it would be....

Does the new 3.3.0.0 fix the subtitles and the automatic refresh new files to any folder that 3.2.0.0 issues has?

We did find a few issues where subtitles were not loaded for new files & fixed these problems. So Mezzmo v3.3 should be an improvement in this area.
