I have a large movie collection and i use these type of names:

Howl's Moving Castle.mkv
Howl's Moving Castle.srt

So every player picks up the external subs.
There is English subs inside the file and external file is dutch.
But when scanning Mezzmo thinks both are English.

Can i tell Mezzmo to prefer external subtitles?
Because it looks like mezzmo picks up
Howl's Moving Castle.nl.srt

But i don't want to rename 1000+ subs.

You certainly don't need to rename your subtitles files.

First step is to read our subtitle FAQ - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/5977-Tutorial-Subtitling-Basics. It will teach you how to configure Mezzmo and your devices so you get exactly the subtitles that you want streamed to your devices.

Subtitle streaming Mezzmo is very powerful & configurable. You can configure subtitle settings for all your devices or differently for each device. You can tell Mezzmo to prefer certain languages to be streamed for your subtitles. You can turn on/off external subtitles or embedded subtitles or subtitle burning. You can disable using certain subtitles that Mezzmo has found for your files.

After reading the FAQ and configuring your subtitle settings in Mezzmo, if you have any questions/problems, just ask and we'll help out :)
