I upgraded from 3.2.0.0 to 3.3.0.0 and am having some connection problems with players being able to get any information from Mezzmo thorugh DLNA for video playing. On the same machine I am running Mezzmo Server (Windows 7 64 bit), I open Cyberlink PowerDVD 12 and click on Home Media (DLNA) and can see Mezzmo listed, but when I click on it in the list, it indicates "No Media Available." In 3.2.0.0, I was able to click on Mezzmo and see my playlists and videos in the database, so something seems to have changed. I can see Mezzmo and see my movies when I use Windows Media Player, but with the number of videos I have, using WMP is not an option since it doesn't show playlists from Mezzmo. The Media Device Profile for this computer is Mezzmo.

On a different computer on my LAN connected with Wi-Fi (Windows 7 64 bit laptop with built-in wifi card), I try to bring up my movies from Mezzmo using PowerDVD 13 Pro (XBMC used for the Media Device Profile, but have also tried WMP) and again I get "No Media Available" when I click on it. PowerDVD worked in version 3.2.0.0, so something about the upgrade seems to make it not work with two different versions of PowerDVD. I can't find anywhere in that software that allows me to specify a port number or IP address (since it seems to just get that information that is broadcast from DLNA), so I don't know what I can change there to get this working using that player, but I would really like to use it as a player since XBMC is not my favorite player and I don't know what else I can use that would work well with Mezzmo. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks.

We don't yet have a device profile for PowerDVD, so it's best we create one so it performs better than using other mismatched device profiles. We'll need a few things from you:

A set of logs. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo from PowerDVD and browse some folders and try to play a video. Then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
A list of video formats, audio formats, images formats and subtitle formats that PowerDVD supports.

I just emailed the logs and the file format details for PowerDVD to your email address. Please let me know if you need additional information.

Thanks - we'll create the device profile and email it to you to try when we're done.
