As you know, I have two sony dlna devices. The 2011 model and the 2012 model. All files appear in the sony menu and play perfectly on the 2011 model (Profile Sony BDP, HT, SMP). Attached are FFmpeg's for a cross section of files that until yesterday at least showed in the menu but when attempting to play said corrupt or unsupported. Today, they don't even appear in the Mezzmo menu on the device (Profile Sony BDP, HT, SMP (2012 Models).

Something else odd, but not really a problem is that beside the file name it indicates ie (mkv=orig) or (mkv=mpegt.... Mezzmo hasn't been updated since 3.3.0.0 came out.

I made no changes in options only to activate logging so you could possibly see the problem but when I went to play the files they were no longer even listed on the 2012 model profile. As I said everything is fine with then 2011 profile.

Also, to stop the "(mkv=orig)" text appearing at the end of your titles, go to the Options dialog (Logging page) and turn off the "Add diagnostic text to titles for troubleshooting" checkbox. Restart your Mezzmo server and try again.

Hi Ken,

I don't think we received your email. In any case, I suggest you upgrade to the new Mezzmo v3.3.1.0 version and it contains all the latest device profiles - including the updated Sony BDP, HT, SMP (2012 models) device profile.

Okay, will do that now.

Hi Paul,

Everything is working great. Thanks.

However I used to be able to shuffle music on the 2011 profile. I would open a folder with a 1000 songs and I used to select an option to shuffle them, but I can't seem to find that option anymore. Any thoughts? This I think occurred with the 3.0 release.

Glad its working well.

The shuffle option you are looking for is part of your Sony device's features and not Mezzmo. Try this: When you are browsing your playlists on your Sony device, select one of the playlists and press the Tools or Options button on your remote control. You might find the setting there.

Also, we have included a new Party Shuffle playlist under Music that shuffles your music and lists 100 songs. You can easily extend this to 1000 songs by editing this playlist in Mezzmo. This could be exactly what you are after :)
