When choosing to pre-transcode, you have pick file formats.
The recommended is bold. I usually have two options, mpeg and mpegts. mpeg transcodes a lot faster. Do I lose any quality, choosing this over the bold mpegts?
What device profile are you using? Go to the Media Devices dialog to see this.

Panasonic Viera (2011 Models, DTS)
Thanks. You won't lose any loss of quality :)

So what I understand, mpegts will convert to fit the tv and mpeg will play the native video screen size? I just transcoded a file as a test to see the difference.
AVI format.
Resolution. 480x208 (Old Movie..Tin Cup) :)
mpeg streamed in the native size, but mpegts streamed to stretch my widescreen.
That's right. Viera TVs are a little picky for the various video resolution sizes they support.
