Hi,

I'm using Mezzmo for quite a while now and would like to update the Meta Info for my Movies or to be more specific my TV Shows online. Some new Imports were automaticly filled with a Series Cover and Infos to the Episode but all others miss this. Is there a way to set a cover (not a picture, the cover mezzmo takes from automatlicly getting the info on import) for all Shows in 1 Season and at a chance get the episode infos, too?

And a second Question: How do I change the Season Folder Picture in Mezzmo? A show i recently imported which got automaticly filled got the Shows Cover as a Folder pic, the shows I filled in manually still got an old video-still as a Season Cover showing up in Mezzmo.

Since I'm not a native speaker I hope you can understand what I'm talking about :)

Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,

Your English is fine :)

To update all your videos to get TV series text metadata (actors, director, description, genre, etc.) and artwork you need to run Maintain Library. If all your videos are in a folder, then you can right-click on the folder/playlist in Mezzmo and click 'Maintain Playlist' (or you can just run Tools -> Maintain Library to update all files in your Mezzmo library). In the Maintain Library dialog, select the "Update media properties" checkbox, "Update subtitles" checkbox and "Update artwork" checkbox. Also select the "Update all attributes" radio button. Click OK and Mezzmo will scan through all the files in the folder/playlist and get new text metadata, artwork and subtitles. Once finished, check if your files are better now. If some do not have text metadata or artwork, then the filenames are not able to be parsed by Mezzmo. Mezzmo supports these naming styles:

C:\folder\Movie Title.avi
C:\folder\Movie Title YYYY.avi
C:\folder\Title s01e01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title 1x01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1\Title 1x01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1 Episode 1 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title\Season 1\01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title\Season 1\s01e01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title\Season 1\1x01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title\Season 1\Title s01e01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title\Season 1\Title 1x01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title\Season 1\Episode 1 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title\Season 1\Season 1 Episode 1 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1\01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1\s01e01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1\1x01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1\Title s01e01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1\Title 1x01 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1\Episode 1 Subtitle.avi
C:\folder\Title Season 1\Season 1 Episode 1 Subtitle.avi

Hi Paul,

Yeah I know about Library Maintaining - but this only works for some of the Shows - or even "worse" for newly added episodes of a show it works (including a Show Cover instead of a Video-Still) while older episodes only get meta. On Maintanence I checked the Checkbox for metadata and picutres and set it to "DE" for german.

I have a Show I would like to add while the meta data (Stars, comment with info to the episode) is working fine the cover isn't added. A second show that got added works fine and uses the cover. If I try to add meta data for the first show by hand there is a cover which is added. Somewhat a bit strange?

Bye
Peter

(And all my shows are like this: C:\folder\Title\Season 1\Title - s01e01 - Subtitle.avi - the working and the without-cover working ones)

Hi Paul,

Thanks, I rebuild my Database completetly today and noticed some strange Things:
- Mezzmo creates dynamicly Playlists for every TV-Show: Thats very nice! BUT: Mezzmo cuts at least the following characters: "." and "-" (without the " of course ;)) - so my Shownames get truncated and then the online metadata can't find infos (summary and Cover Picture) and then creates pics from video still.
- Maintaining the dynamic playlist (including the Checkbox for Thumbs on setting only for files that haven't got infos) will fill the summary but leave the old video still.
- Maintaining the dynamic playlist with setting to overwrite existing infos the show get's renamed since the "-" in the title is removed and so it can't find any online infos.
- If the Episode Name contains an "Ü" for example the Meta-Data and Picture can't be set by maintanence (at least for the most time, 1 out of 10 works)
- Automatic generated dynamic playlists won't show season 0 episodes - is that right?
