View Full Version : Art not displaying correctly in BubbleUPnp

After upgrading to 3.4, the cover art is not being displayed correctly in BubbleUPnp.

It looks like one small section of the cover art is being displayed. The size of the cover appears to be correct, it's just displaying one small part of a much larger image. The cover is displayed correctly in Mezzmo and on the WD TV Live (Gen 3) devices.

The correct profile is loaded - BubbleUPnP to MXPlayer and deleting and reloading the profile has not fixed it.

The 'BubbleUPnP to MXPlayer' device profile has not changed for Mezzmo v3.4. Has your BubbleUPnP app updated recently? Current version seems to be v1.7.2.2. Try getting the latest version of the app and try again. If no better, we should see what is happening in a set of logs. Please turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo from BubbleUPnP and browse some playlists/folders that have the artwork badly displayed. Then, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Just an update - We have found a small issue with streaming thumbnails to devices in Mezzmo v3.4.0.0 We have fixed it. You can email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll provide a patch to try. If that works well, then we'll release a minor update for all users.

We just released Mezzmo v3.4.1 and it will fix any thumbnail problem you may have. After installing this update, go to the Media Devices dialog and edit your device. On the Device Settings dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and delete your transcoded files.

Thanks Paul.

3.4.1 fixed the cover art display. However, Mezzmo does not seem to be creating thumbnails for items it was unable to scrape. Checked the usual settings.

In testing with videos that would fail to be scraped, the status display shows getting metadata and art but does not switch to generating thumbnails when the scrape fails.
