Hi again,
This has bugged me for a while now.. so figured I should probably ask rather than grumble about it..
I know how to update the Library files manually, but due to a head injury a while back, I forget to do it.. usually until we're ready to watch something on the computer..
Is there a way to have Mezzmo automatically scan my media folder(s) for new files and/or deleted files and update? If not.. any chance to get that added?
I just have a hunch that theres a great big button marked "PUSH ME TO AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE LIBRARY" that I'm not seeing.. but oh well.. The developers deserve a good laugh for the great work they do!
Thanks guys!
Lan

Ok.. I admit it.. Sometimes I can be a little slow on the uptake.
So, after posting tthe above question, I went poking around in Mezzmo (looking for the Great Big Button), and this time, I FOUND IT!!
I had created a smart playlist off my library, and set it (the playlist) to update every night.. but it never did... I just realized that I needed to schedule the Library to update as well.
So, now I've got my Library scheduled to update at 1am and the playlist to update at 2am. I believe that should fix it.
LOL.. I feel like an Idjit.. Think I'll go hang my head in shame for a while. LOL.

Hi Lan,

You can use the Maintain Library dialog to get Mezzmo to update all your existing files, find new files or remove deleted files for the folders you have added into your Mezzmo library.

You can run Maintain Library manually if you want (click Maintain Library on the main toolbar in Mezzmo), or you can schedule it to run every day at a certain time. See this FAQ for more details - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/6221-Tutorial-Maintaining-your-Mezzmo-library

If any problems or further questions, just ask. We're happy to help you get up and running so you don't need to grumble any more :)
