Movie background noise/music too loud. overpowers voice which is muffled. Streams fine. Panasonic Viera. Win 7 8GB RAM.

This could be the way that the video file has been encoded. How does the movie sound in a media player on your PC like VLC / WMP or on other devices in your home? If it is also loud, then the problem is the video file itself and you will need to re-encode it.

If the video is OK when played on other media players or devices, then right-click on the video and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'. Post that information here. Also tell us what TV model you have and the device profile that is assigned to your device in the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo.

Thanks for the information. Using this device profile, Mezzmo server is streaming your MKV file directly to your TV without any modification/transcoding. So, it seems that your TV's firmware cannot decode and play the video file's audio AC3 channel correctly. The workaround is to pre-transcode the video to another format so the AC3 channel can be played correctly.
