View Full Version : Queued tasks are "stuck" again

Everything had been running fine for a couple weeks. Then just this morning we couldn't see the Mezzmo server from our BluRay player. I checked Mezzmo and it showed that it was still waiting to download artwork from last night and the number of files it was trying to download was not decreasing. So I stopped the server, killed Mezzmo (it wouldn't exit on it's own), then restarted Mezzmo and the server. Now the BluRay player can see it again. But the queued tasks are still there and I have a feeling that it's going to cause Mezzmo to get lost again soon. You guys gave me the list of files to delete to get rid of the queued tasks before, but that message has been lost. Can you give me that list again? And is there a way to track down why these things get stuck in the first place?

We'd like to fix the problem so this does not happen again. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging). Stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo application using File/Exit menu item. Run the Mezzmo application again and start your Mezzmo server. Use Mezzmo as you normally do and when you notice the artwork downloading not progressing in the Status pane, then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo application. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
