Dear All,
I have a small problem that sometimes is annoying.
Mezzmo Current version: v3.4.2.0
Router Asus RT-N53
1 Samsung D TV with LAN
2 Samsung F TV with WI-FI

If I start playing any video file on 1 TV and after that will start the same or any other file on 2 TV.
On 1 TV playing will be interrupted and next file on a list will start playing

To avoid this problem I always need to start TV 2 first

I played around with router, LAN drivers, with mezzmo device profiles - still the same
Could you, please help me with any advise from where to start digging?

Aleks

Hi Aleks,

With Mezzmo, you can stream the same file or different files to many devices in your home all at the same time.

One possible reason for your problem: Check the Transcoding pane when your problem occurs. Are there two files listed there as transcoding? If there are, then they are both competing for transcoding priority. You can resolve this by pre-transcoding your files before playing them and then the competing transcoding will not occur. See this FAQ for pre-transcoding: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/6025-Tutorial-Pre-transcoding-Files

Dear Paul,
Sorry, forgot to mention - transcoding is turned off

Understand. It's best we see a set of logs when this problem occurs. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Reproduce the problem as you mention and then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. In your email, please include the FFmpeg information for the files that you are streaming. To get this information, right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.
