Media Device Profile request please........!

Hello ,

i was wondering if it could be possible to create a device profile for the satellite receivers Octagon ? they are based on Fortis satellite models and they are very popular in Europe....They are Linux based satellite receivers, DLNA certified players/servers.

My model is Octagon SF1008g+ and the latest firmware i am using is HbbTV CIP v2.11.57.

These receivers can do almost anything !!!!

We can create a device profile for your device. Please provide the following information:


A set of logs. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo from your device & browse some playlists and play a few files. Stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
A list of the video formats, music formats, photo formats and subtitle formats that the device supports. Email this information to us as well.

Paul thanks a lot....i will do them !!!!!!!Do you want separate logs for each type of file or i can do it only once for everything.....?????

Just one set of logs is fine. You just needs to browse a few playlists and try to play a few files. Don't worry if the files play or not. Zip up all the logs and email them to us.
