I've been using Mezzmo with my LG 47LW650T TV for some time and have been having issues with pauses for loading and total disconnections.

This doesn't always happen it's quite random.

I run Mezzmo on an Intel i7 with 16Gb ram and an NVidea GTX 660Ti and stream through my BT Home Hub 5 to ZyXEL powerline adaptors to the TV.

Any idea what could be causing this as it's driving me mad?

I've tried all the LG profiles in Mezzmo and none make a difference.

Hi Nightgaunt,

We have fixed a related problem reported with the new v3.4.3 and replaced the Mezzmo v3.4.3 Auto Update package and Mezzmo full installer on our web site.

If you have already applied the v3.4.3 update, then please download the full installer from our web site (www.mezzmo.com) and run it (do not uninstall your existing Mezzmo). When the Mezzmo installer prompts you to do a Repair, click Yes. After the repair has completed, your Mezzmo v3.4.3 will be up-to-date and the issues should be fixed.

If that does not fix your problem, then it could be related to your powerline adaptors or router. If possible, as a test try using an Ethernet cable and see if you get better results. This will help isolate the problem.

If no success, then send us a set of logs and we'll see what's happening. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Reproduce the problem and then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

I'll give it a go but doubt it will help as it's been happening for the last few updates.

I also doubt it's the router as I've tried three different routers, Home Hub 3, Home Hub 5 and Draytek 2750n without success.

Only other thing I can try is the Ethernet option however I should have said when I run Mezzmo through my Sony Bluray to the LG TV I don't get these issues so doubt it's those either.

Understand better now. Please send us the set of logs when you reproduce the problem with your LG TV and we'll see if we can see the problem.

As the problem can happen at any time, literally within minutes or up to 2 hours into a movie I'm not sure how easy this will be to catch via a log file.

Can I just leave logging on until the problem occurs without it creating some huge log file?

The log file will become huge, but it will compress very well using your favorite compression tool (7Zip, WinRAR, WinZip, etc.) If the compressed log files are less than 10MB, then email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. If > 10MB, then upload them to a filesharing site like SkyDrive, Dropbox, Rapidshare, etc. and email us the download link.
