Hi Guys,

Thanks for the great product.

Is there a limit on the number of files in a dynamic folder?

The issue I have had for the last few weeks is when i browse two particular folders (Specific path, include subfolders, video presets, no sorting, 218 files in one 282 files in the other) on my Samsung TV-50C6500 after 90 seconds the TV turns off without returning the list of video files.

When I browse any other folder, say one with 100 files in it the listing returns in 22 seconds.

I'm sure that the 218 files folder has had 218 files in it for many months, but the 282 file folder gets added to regularly. I believe that i didn't have any issue on the 218 file folder until the issue started on the 282 file folder.

I've upgraded to the latest version of mezzmo just in case, 3.4.3.0, and the issue persists.

Thanks

Paul

Samsung devices are very time-sensitive and can timeout easily. We have tuned Mezzmo to deliver the list of files as fast as possible, but there may be something in your situation that is slowing down the delivery. It's best we see a set of logs. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Browse the 282 files folder on your TV and, when it fails, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
