Change Language on DVD Iso stream ?

Hi from France,

well Mezzmo is really a nice product, does exactly what i hoped when buying it.

Just one trick i don't find : when i use a ripped Dvd, it play perfectly but i don't know where to change the Language (for example DVD is English and French, default is English and i want French)

Any idea ? can be changed on computer ? or with remote playing device and where ??

In Mezzmo, right click on the file, Properties, Video to set the preferred audio track.

Hi and thanks for your answer, i've seen that but here the problem is Audio Channels all look the same ! (French is channel 2 for example but i think Mezzmo see it as the Channel 1 since the names are the sames).

On a few DVD Iso i had the same problem (see picture). I select Channel 2, i tick the box...but transcoding to force audio channel 2 says me : no need to transcode your device supports those formats...

any more ideas ? thanks !!

Typically, Mezzmo displays "(en), "(fr)", "(de)", etc. at the start of the audio channel on the Tvideo tab on the Properties dialog, but only if Mezzmo can detect the language of the audio channel from the video file's internal attributes. In your case, Mezzmo could not detect the audio language so it is just listing the different audio channels found in the video file. So, even though both audio channels for the video file are listed in a similar way, they are separate audio channels and you should choose the one that has the audio language you want.

Since your device supports this video format, by default, Mezzmo is choosing not to transcode the video. To force Mezzmo to just include the selected audio channel (so you get to hear that audio channel on your device), you must also select the "Only stream the preferred channels to devices" checkbox on the Video tab on the Properties dialog.

I'm not sure what device you're streaming to, but for my Sony BDPs, it works best to rip DVDs as VOB files instead of ISOs. That way, I can select whichever audio track I want in the player, including DTS tracks.

indeed the 2 audio seemed the same but was different one, i selected the second one, i forced transcoding to Mpgeg (quite quick rather than mastroska) and still in ISO file : playing perfectly on my small decoder.
