I am having a bit of a nightmare getting basic function to work with Mezzmo through my LA690V Smart TV. When I try to use the LG TV (2013 Model) profile, all the movies i try to play fail - it says they all need transcoding, and i can see it transcoding them at +mpegts (-h264 +ac3), which then reports on the tv as "format not supported".

I have tried the LG TV (2012 Model) profile with much more success - it doesn't attempt to transcode 90% of my video files and they all play perfectly. However some have multiple audio soundtracks, even though when i check Mezzmo is setting the English audio soundtrack as preferred option, it still plays the default soundtrack (not the English one). If I then tell it to only stream the selected soundtrack (and restart Mezzmo for the changes to happen), the file then fails as it is transcoding with the same settings as the 2013 profile. I am also unable to select the audio soundtrack on the TV.

I'm not sure why it refuses to play as AC-3, DTS are fully supported on the TV and there are movies i have in AC-3 that work (with the 2012 profile).

Has anyone any suggestions or any alternative profiles i could try??

Built-in Mezzmo profiles for LG very poorly match the real 2012-2013 LG TVs.
Try to use my profile that I edited for my 2012 LG TV: 647
Copy this file to "\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Conceiva\Mezzmo\DeviceProfiles\" (for Win XP)

Thanks for sharing this Yury. We'll try it here and, if it works well, we'll update our device profiles to work better with LG TVs.

Thanks Yury. I have applied the profile and it appears to be pretty similar to the 2012 profile i use at the moment - i need to work out how to write these profile files!

I have added support for DTS, and increased the maximum size of the displayed picture.
But now I checked the latest version, and found that the developers have already added support for DTS, and now really is almost no difference from my profile.
