Pre-transcoding a folder

Right-click on the folder or playlist in the tree on the left in Mezzmo and click Pre-transcode Playlist

Will this automatically pre-transcode new files as they are added to the folder or playlist?

No - it just pre-transcodes the files in the folder/playlist that you have at the time.
