Hey there. Great product first off. Just discovered it last week!!
I have an SMP-N100 that cannot play mkv and mp4 video files. Mezzmo transcodes beautifully so I can watch them on my SMP, but the transcoding is taking up 10's of Gb of space with only the few movies I've watched.
So, my question is:
How can I change the format in which Mezzmo transcodes files? It currently transcodes to MZT, which is huge in filesize (8+Gb per movie). I would prefer Mezzmo to transcode to .avi (xvid format), as to save space.

Any help in this would be appreciated. :)

Thanks!!!

Glad you like Mezzmo :). Right-click on a video in Mezzmo that has been transcoded and click Properties. On the Properties dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and you will see all the transcoded files for that video. The transcoded file (although it has a .mzt file extension) is actually a known video format (e.g. mpeg-ts, avi, etc.) so there's no need to convert it to another format.

If you are quickly filling up your hard disk, then you can do a few things - (i) click Save As on this dialog and save the transcoded file to a location and use that file (instead of the original) or (ii) move your transcoded files to another drive that has more free space. You can do this in the Transcoding Settings dialog. In this dialog, you can also set the maximum folder size so that Mezzmo keeps your transcoded files under your specified limit (Mezzmo deletes older transcoded files when the limit is reached).
