Hi, I hope you can help. When I am streaming avid or mp4 videos they stop randomly. the one I am watching at the moment stopped at 25 minutes, earlier one stopped at 1hr 18 minutes. I just press play and they start from the beginning Si I have to search to find where it stopped. this is very frustrating. I have tried re starting the pc, shopping the drive from sleeping but all to no avail. I can watch 19 then one stops, or the first one I watch stops, there is no pattern that I can see. Any advice?

Some questions:

What device (including model number) are you streaming to?
How is your PC running Mezzmo and your DLNA device connected to your home network? Wired, wireless, etc.
What device profile is assigned to your device in the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo?
Post the FFmpeg information for one of the videos that stopped suddenly. Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Tried to watch a few titles toninght and they still stop randomly so I will try to answer your questions in the hope you can find a solution to this very annoying issue.

What device (including model number) are you streaming to? Samsung UE46F6400
How is your PC running Mezzmo and your DLNA device connected to your home network? Wired, wireless, etc. TV is hard wired to router as is PC running Mezzmo. The same files play fine on my samsung LE32D560.
What device profile is assigned to your device in the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo? Was Samsung D, I am now trying Samsung BDP
Post the FFmpeg information for one of the videos that stopped suddenly. Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Hi Don,

Using the Samsung D device profile, Mezzmo is streaming this file directly to your TV without any modification. Your TV is aborting the streaming for some reason. We have seen this with some Samsung models and it seems to be related to DLNA device discovery on your home network. When devices broadcast on your home network, your TV receives these messages and interrupts its streaming for some reason. Try this: Increase the SSDP Interval in Mezzmo to 86400. See this FAQ - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/6245-FAQ-Change-the-default-SSDP-advertisement-interval. Restart your Mezzmo server and try streaming now.

Also, given your TV is a Samsung F-series model, then try using the Samsung F device profile. It should match better for your model.
