Using serviio on my server at present to stream to 3 Sony Bravia's on a wired network. Wanting to try mezzmo. Loaded it into a W8.1 VM under Hyper-V on the server. Seems a good interface. Pointed it to all the media on the server. Let it do it's thing. All the media shows (maybe just the metadata) in the Sony's but I get "file could not be found" when I try to play. I have tried changing credentials in mezzmo to use the server admin ones (to give complete read write access to the files). Serviio is still active on the physical server. Could this cause a conflict?

The problem will most likely be access permissions where Mezzmo server (running as a Windows service) cannot access your files. We discuss this issue here - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/4597-FAQ-Accessing-files-from-external-computers-and-NAS-drives-on-your-home-network. If still no success, then turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Reproduce the "file could not be found" error and then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
