Hi,

I can't get anything to play on my Panasonic BDT-300 Bluray player. I've tried all the Panasonic profiles and even the Generic (PAL) one but, even though I can connect and navigate through the folders, the video files are greyed out and won't play.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If your files are coming from an external NAS drive or external computer, then the problem may be related to access permissions. See this FAQ to fix this - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/4597-FAQ-Accessing-files-from-external-computers-and-NAS-drives-on-your-home-network. If still a problem, then it's best we see a set of logs. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Reproduce the problem on your Blu-ray player and then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Hi Paul.

The files are on my internal hadr drive so it's definitely not a network access permission problem.

I turned on loggin using the instructions in the link and turned on the bluray player, connected to Mezzmo, navigated through the folders to the video files, and the files were greyed out and wouldn't play but, no log files were generated. I did it all again, just to make sure I was doing it right and still no log files were generated. So, I've actually got nothing to send you.

Any other ideas?

EDIT: I tried a third time and the log files were generated. Emailing them now. :)
