Hello

is there a way that after adding a Folder with lots of subfolders, ONLY those tolders are displayed or better included in the library that contain files?
in my case i have lots of Folders by date where my pics and some Videos are stored. I want to add them to the Video library, but just those that contain Video files.
at the the Moment the filter works so that only the Video files are importet but the whole Folder structure is shown on the left side, which is awful.

my Workaround at the Moment are playlists, which is fine so far.

Using 'Add To Library' -> 'Add folder' adds a folder that is fully dynamic - i.e. when you browse the folder in Mezzmo or from your DLNA device, Mezzmo dynamically gets the files/folder list and displays it according to your filter. As you can imagine, Mezzmo does not know what files are listed (say) 5 or 10 levels deep. There may be video files there. There may not be video files there. Mezzmo cannot browse through all sub-folders to determine if a folder shoudl be displayed or not. That is just too slow. So Mezzmo must show all the sub-folders so that you can navigate.

The alternative method is to use active playlists or smart playlists to browse your videos. Mezzmo comes pre-installed with active playlists and smart playlists for Movies, TV shows, Home movies, Year, Genre, Recently Added, Most Played, etc. You can modify these as you wish or create new ones to match the way that you like browsing your collection. If you are unsure how to do this, then tell us what you would like and we'll provide the steps to create the playlists/hierarchy that you like.
