Hello all,

Well, I was waiting with impatience v4.x if MKV's with XBOX360 would of been fix. Unfortunately, the fixes weren't there :(. In other words, on XBOX 360 and with MKV's, the only thing that works is the PAUSE option. All the reste doesn't work!

Before you say that XBOX360 doesn't support MKV's there are other DLNA server out there that works such as PLEX by example. In other words, I do not understand why the PRE-TRANSCODING doesn't work!

There are around 30 millions xbox 360 on the market, it could of make a lot of new customers for mezzmo.

Thanx. Regards.

By default, Mezzmo is transcoding your MKV to MPEG-TS on-the-fly. This lets you watch the video immediately as it is transcoding - but it does have a disadvantage of not letting you FF/REW. Alternatively, if you pre-transcode the video to MPEG-4, then you can use FF/REW as you want - but it has a disadvantage of not being able to transcode on-the-fly. So, if you need FF/REW, then pre-transcode to MPEG-4.

Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click Pre-transcode Files to pre-transcode your video.

These format limitations are all in Xbox 360's firmware and not Mezzmo.
