Hello,

(the server is on my windows laptop, which I don't use for anything else but Mezzmo, I have not changed anything, but upgraded to 4.0.5.0...thats it)

Since I updated to 4.0.5.0 it crashes exactly every 15 minutes, I start it up again...and again 15 min later.....crashes...I have never had any problems since 3.4.4 version until now (all versions run great)
I will be sending off all the dump files (quite a few) to support.

My question is: Can I downgrade to a stable version...or can we have a option inside mezzmo that lets users choose a previous version that has treated them good....and not crashed all the time?

Right now I need to downgrade to 3.4.4 or 4.0.0.0 and where can I find this to downgrade....?

Can support email me a link please to a stable version?

Thanks

Have the exact same problem. Already changed back to 4.0.4.0. Hopefully your logs will let them fix it.

A few users reported a crash a few hours after releasing v4.0.5.0 and we fixed it immediately & replaced the installer/update package. So, if you get the v4.0.5.0 update (or download the installer) now, hopefully you should be OK. If not, then send us a new set of crash dump files and we'll look into it further.

Hey Paul, was the new update in the last few hours, because I updated just tonight and found it was dropping out every 15 mins or so randomly and then reconnecting. It's the first time for me this has happened also. I went back to 4.0.4.0 and everything was fine again. :)

I'm using Windows 8 x64 and WDTV Live Hub. I've already gone back but can test again if needed.

Cheers

Same here, when I've finished watching a video I press the black square on my LG Bluray player, I run my Mezzmo wirelessly through it, I get a network error message, if I look at the Home Link page Mezzmo isn't there yet if I rescan it reappears again.

5.0.4.0 and earlier worked flawlessly and I've not altered anything since the upgrade, one of those computer glitches we all love.

Thanks to all users who have reported this error. We have just found the problem and fixed it.

Please download the latest Mezzmo v4.0.5.0 installer from http://www.mezzmo.com and run the installer (you do not need to uninstall your current version). It will upgrade your current version. If it prompts you to Repair, then click Yes.

Let us know if the problem persists. If you get a crash, then please email us the crash dump ZIP files to support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Thanks Paul,

I've been running this update to 4.0.5.0 for 4+ hours now and so far no problems, appears to be back to normal operation...hoot hoot!
Good job on recovering from the error and sending out a FAST - FIX....

All your staff are the best! ;)

Thanks

Wasn't crashing for me until I upgraded to 4.0.5.0 - it's failing regularly now and is unusable.
