Alright, i am testing mezzmo right now with 2 different Samsung devices

1. Samsung LE37B651 which is working, as long as the audio codec of the movie is not DCA. i will get an error unsupported audio codec and will only have the video part running. Is there any chance that the DCA (DTS Coherent Acoustics) could be recognised and the whole file transcoded ? ( the files are mkv's)
I am running the telly on the samsung b profile.

2. Samsung HTS-C5550
isnt running at all..... no idea why, I see the DLNA Server, but as soon as I start to play a file the player will tell me that its an unsupported file type.
Profile is samsung hts, but no idea why it aint working.

Any help and information is welcome, as i wanna get the whole system running before i buy mezzmo.

regards
Bjoern

Is transcoding turned on? DCA sound should be transcoded for the Samsung B TVs - can you please check that the right profile is used (click on "Edit" in the Media Devices dialog to see which device profile is selected) and also please make sure that transcoding is turned on. If both are true and the file is not transcoded, please send a message to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll investigate.

Could be the same issue with the HTS - please turn on logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try to play one of the files on the HTS and once that fails, stop the server and send the logs to the support e-mail above.

setup seems right, will get a log for the hts and send an email to the support.

should i make it 2 emails, for each device 1 or should i sent it in together, whats easier to handle for the support ?

Just one e-mail is fine, but please make two separate logs to make it easier to read each one of them (they tend to get large quickly). Thanks!

I have just bought a samsung HTS and get exactly the same problem with it!

The samsung TV works fine and plays most things properly now but can hardly play anything on the HTS.

We think we have fixed the issues with the Samsung HTS. We will release a new Mezzmo update shortly (free to all registered users of Mezzmo).

In the meantime, please contact us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com, and we can supply you with a patch.

That seemed to have fixed the problem - thanks!
