No subtitles on a Samsung Galaxy Tab

Hello!

I'm trying to watch an mkv video file with external srt subtitles on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, but no subtitles actually. When I press the settings button while playing the file, it says "subtitles disabled". If I press over it, the app freezes.

The same file plays with subtitles on a Samsung TV LE37C630.

Can you help me?

On your Samsung Galaxy Tab, I suggest you use Mezzmo Android app + MX Player app. In Mezzmo (Windows) app, go to the Media Devices dialog and make sure your Samsung Galaxy Tab device listed there is using the 'Conceiva Mezzmo (Android)' device profile. This should provide great video streaming with subtitles.
